Create a standard TC pathtag back design.

Cash - you and I have talked about this before, but I thought I'd toss it out there and see if other members might use this if it was available.

To summarize for the others - pathtag.org has agreed that they would accept a standard back design for Terracaching. That would mean that members who wanted to have pathtags made with their own front design could have a back that contained a TC design, instead of one of the other generic designs. To me, this seems like a good way to spread the word on TC to anyone who gets one of our pathtags. OC.com has created a standard back, and there are a number of other geocaching-related organizations who have them.

Are there other members who might have pathtags made using this back if it was available? No point in going to the effort of producing a design if very few people would use it.

    Yes we do have a design back by Alamos_Trail.  I am asking for a couple of changes.

    We have sent two request to PathTag.com but have yet to recieve a response.  We even promised a very large order for some cool designs that Alamos_Trail did for us.  I am wondering SF if this is the right site.  Do you get these tags at another site?  Could you also send a request to help us.

    Hi Cash - I've been out of touch for a week, so just reading your comment. Somewhere, I have an email from pathtag with a guy's name discussing the special backs. I will try to dig that email out and pass on the contact info to you.

    I have traded emails with Mike @ pathtags and we are really close.  I just need to get a few more changes to the back that ALAMOS_TRAIL designed and he said he could load it for us.

    I have been looking at the pathtags site with a view to having some made and they do seem to have a Terracaching back available. Is this the one being talked about previously?

    Yes, this is the standard Pathtag back.  Which reminds me I need to get with Alamos_Trail and get one of his front designs so I can order a bunch.  It is down the list.  Alamos_Trail is the designer so send him a shout out.

    Cash - fantastic that there is finally a TC back for pathtags! Now I really have to get cracking on a design for a SoccerFanatics front. Been putting it off too long, partly using the wxcuse the TC back wasn't available yet.

    In the very near future I will be sending Jasta 11 (who has offered to act as my broker laughing) some of my Pathtags to be distributed/swapped in the US and Canada. If anyone 'across the pond' who would like to swap for a "personal" pathtag, or has had a FTF on one of my terracaches (Cyber or locationless- there are a couple of LC FTF's still up for grabs) and feels they deserve one wink as mine is a pathtag nominally awarded to  FTFs , can post their interest then I will know how many to send Craig.

    Anyone else out there have a tag that sports the new, totally cool terracaching.com backing?

    If so, we'll trade one of 2016 Gold Edition tags for yours provided it has the TC backing.

    If you'd like to trade other tags, we'll offer up our standard Silver tags.

    ... with the TC backing, of course!

     

    We're open to trades for any other tags the have the TC back design.

    Hey, thanks for reviving this old thread, I didn't know a TC back was available. I'm ordering my GC design with the cooler back this afternoon. Vive la différence!  cool

    The TC back used to show among the available options, but at some point it was dropped. We contacted them. They said to complete our order with the default back, and they would manipulate the order on their end to get the TC backing.

    We're ready to trade when you are 😉 !

    I sent a request about the TC back on the 15th, which has (so far) been ignored. Not sure what's going on down there, but I sent another request for my old blueprint, which resulted in one message asking what my email address was (??? same as you sent to ???), and another changing my password. Did I slip dimensions again?

    JASTA 11 or New England Area Terracachers: did you add the TC backing as a note with your order, or in a separate email, or...? Thanks.

    I managed to find my old artwork anyway, and have made minor changes, ready to submit as soon as they put the TC back into the lineup again (preferably), or can assure me I'll get the TC back.

    Hey skramble,

    When we went to order our tags we noticed the TC backing wasn't showing among the available options. We know it used to be there so we asked.

    Sent an email to [email protected] and received a reply from 'Rusty'.

    Rusty said to submit the order with a default back, and then email him with the tag number and he would change it manually.

    So, your first step would be to get in contact with Rusty and explain that you want to use the TC back design.

    I sent them an email and never heard back so I was really worried.  I am going to order a set for me.   Thank you JASTA 11 for adding the pressure to get our TerraCaching Back  back upppp.

    At last, I've received my spiffy new TC-backed pathtags! They've been a long time coming, but I think they look great. I initially opted for the gold backing, but my design just didn't look so good with it, so I've gone to the traditional black nickel. I'm going to be slyly getting the TC word out by distributing them at the Frog events in Seattle on August 15/16 and in Abbotsford BC on August 22.
