Welcome to TerraCaching!

Ability to search for caches becomes available once you accept two sponsors. You should receive email notifications when people offer you sponsorship. TerraCaching uses a community based approach, sponsors are your mentors to answer questions about the site and help you. The site does allow you to change sponsors once you have accepted two.

The site first uses members that live close to you based on your home coordinates then over the next 48 hours it opens up to the rest of us. Many people will offer sponsorship if you post in TerraTalk about your caching style. This helps align people that desire to hide and find caches like you do.

We hope you will join the community and help us build towards our goal of providing geocaches that are interesting and fun as we go on an adventure for love of the hunt.

	Kill the dead caches
	I don't think I'm overstating it to say it is WAY past time to set up a simple process to archive caches that are long gone. In the SE Mass and RI area many of the listed caches are dead. Repeatedly filing requests that the caches be archived has yielded little in the way of results. It's hard e... read more

	Filter by Physical Challenge Rating
	As you may know, I started placing Terracaches ten years ago because Geocaching had become a vast wasteland of drive by caches. 	All I want for Christmas is a GPX that works with LCs.
	Seeing that adding titles/captions to pictures is so important that it should take precedence over a functioning GPX file, I can't wait to see what else is high on that list!Jack
