If I log a cache with a picture and the find date of the current day's date it gets placed on the showcase.

If I log a cache with a picture and a date prior to current day's date, it doesn't get on the Community Showcase. This a repeatable scenario.

Wouldn't the site prefer to showcase postings that are newly posted versus when the find is? Not every cacher submits finds on the same day he/she finds it when they are traveling.
