Finding Old Caches
I recently read an article about finding old caches that hadn't been found in years. Well that's what I've been doing lately in northwest Montana, the birth place of Terracaching.
Yesterday was Cube Iron Mountain (TC4SL)- 8 years. Last week Ewing and Rock Candy (TCCCS,TC2JT)- 9 years. Then Up on the Yaak (TC435M)- 4 years.
Next Tuesday I'll be over in Glacier hiking up to one of my favorites, Ptarmigan Tunnel (TCEIK) which has been listed for 6 years and never been logged.
There are hundreds out there and the ones in steel ammo cans are just as good as the day they were placed.

Yukon Jack,
Our Master Mountain Climber and one of the most knowledgeable about TerraCaching and what quality means on a geocaching adventure. I love finding old caches and have had similar experiences with the ammo cans. The caches are in great shape and just need a little friendly visit.
Will I hope you are well and safe. I see you finding caches right and left.
Thank you Yukon Jack for going back to these caches and make sure they are there waiting for the rest of us to follow in you footsteps.

All is well here
Just finished a 200 +/- mile loop through Cochiti Lake, Bandelier Park and Los Alamos - Long day just hope solved all the picture requirements. Because of recent rains, some portions of the trails were temp closed, had to do "long distant" shots.
Anyway, "The journey is the reward," as Steve Jobs said.
Keep TC alive but be safe in doing so!
