I took a drive up to Gettysburg, this afternoon to visit Gettysburg Tower (TC2SAQ) by sfcchaz for my 500th TerraCache, which was also my 1000th non-from cache. It's probably been at least a few years since I envisioned trying to synch up these milestones, like this.

Then, I got got pretty inactive with caching in general and TC, in particular.

This lock down helped me get back into TC via LC and CC caches, as well as Geocaching Australia's LC's (which include cyber style caches) and I was able to get my numbers up to the point I was ready to finally hit 500/1000.

It was particularly special since I have found many a TerraCache and other non-frog caches with Chaz - before he moved away, that is. And being Memorial Day it seemed appropriate to use a cache at Gettysburg for the milestone.

Looking forward to my next 500/1000 and beyond.

I also finally signed up for the enhanced features and, for the first time, loaded my GPX to c:geo, in addition to my GPS.
