Blood Blue Supermoon

Today we have had a supermoon, where the full moon is closer to the earth than normal. It is also a Blue moon, the second full moon of the month- doesn't occur that often, hence the phrase "once in a blue moon". Terracachers in America (and possibly elsewhere) may also have seen the lunar eclipse which turns the moon a red/pink colour- we weren't so lucky over here. Roll on 2028 when we get the full monty.

Just wondered if any US/Canadian cachers took photos of the Blood Blue Supermoon and are able to post them for me to envy. smile

Love to oblige, but it's been pouring rain over here, the moon could have drifted away and I'd not have known. frown Oh well, it still beats snow.
